and Breakfast Tilburg ‘Gust van Dijk’ would like to inform you that Dance Week Tilburg has
turned into an entire Dance Month in October 2010! During the preparations for Dance Week 2010 it
turned out that participants such as Station Zuid, Theaters Tilburg, NWE Vorst en Factorium
wanted to program a lot of (international) shows and dance activities, but at the same time
it proved difficult to pick one suitable period for this. That’s why it was decided to
designate the entire month of October as Dance Month in Tilburg. Step into the world of dance
and visit October Dance Month in Tilburg!

Dancing actively, passively or even secretly?! During an entire month, Tilburg is all about dance.
Spread out across the podia of Theatres Tilburg, Theatre de NWE Vorst and Fontys Dance Academy,
visitors can enjoy modern dance in all its forms. In order to let even more people get acquainted
with special forms of dance, also the city itself turns into a podium. Danshuis Station Zuid is
using the Heuvel in the centre as “mobile dance house”. Tilburg Dance City is an initiative of
Danshuis Station Zuid, Theaters Tilburg, Theater De NWE Vorst, Fontys Dansacademie, Kunstbalie and
Factorium. This year’s program consists of a mix of spectacular dance events. We are sure you will
enjoy it, so come and stay at Bed and Breakfast Tilburg and make timely

Saturday the 3rd of October at 2 pm there is a big dance event on the Heuvel;
three dancers from dance academy Tilburg who participated in the tv program “So you think you can
dance” give a performance together with a large group of amateur dancers. This could well result in
a surprisingly nice Youtube video!
During the event you can enjoy workshops, daring experiments and exciting shows. In the theatre, on
the dance floor but also in the shopping streets. This makes Tilburg Dance City one big playground
for dancers and audience alike.
